In addition to coenzyme Q10 and other antioxidants, Race Caps Supreme contains vitamin E and minerals. The Race Caps Supreme are ideal for athletes. As the body’s own production of coenzyme Q10 decreases from the age of about 30, it can be supplemented.

Q10 plays a particularly important role in the mitochondria („power stations of the cells“) as an enzyme helper in the conversion of food energy into the body’s own energy, i.e. in energy metabolism. As soon as energy is produced, Q10 is used. And because our metabolism has to provide us with energy without interruption, coenzyme Q10 is so important.

Q10 is also a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants help to protect body cells from oxidative stress. Since this damages cells, oxidative stress is considered the main cause of premature skin aging and is involved in the development of a variety of diseases. Stress, environmental toxins, smoking, unhealthy nutrition, UV radiation or too intensive sports training increase the imbalance between the build-up and breakdown of free radicals in the body and thus promote oxidative stress.

APPLICATION

Athletes with a weight of less than 68 kg

Non-training days: 1 capsule daily with food.

Sport under 2 hours: 1 capsule 30-90 minutes before sport and 1 capsule after sport with Recoverite or with food

Sport over 2 hours: 1 capsule 30-90 min. before sport and 1 capsule after sport with Recoverite or meal. In addition, 1 capsule per hour during training can be taken as needed.

Athletes who weigh more than 68 kg

Non-training days : 1 capsule twice a day with food

Sport under 2 hours: 2 capsules 30-90 min. before sport and 1 capsule after sport with Recoverite or with food

Sport over 2 hours: 2 capsules 30-90 min. before sport and 1 capsule after sport with Recoverite or with food. In addition, 1 capsule per hour can be taken during training if required.
